Technician – Quality Control

In the context of our present growth, we are seeking to fill a temporary position (1 year contract- day or evening shift) as Technician, Laboratory Services for Laval Plant.


Reporting to the Supervisor, Quality Control, the incumbent performs chemical analysis of raw materials, finished products, packaging materials and stabilities in compliance with HSE rules, GMP, GLP and other guides and standards.



Perform chemical and instrumental analyzes according to officially approved methods

Perform ” troubleshooting ” on chemical analyzes and laboratory instruments

Complete with diligence documentation of analyzes performed according to the standards and procedures ( LIMS, investigations )

Participate to technologic transfer of analytical methods and various projects

o Analysis Investigations

o IQ / OQ / PQ and calibration of laboratory instruments

o Development and validation of analytical and cleaning methods

o Samples analysis of production validation processes and related stabilities projects





Collegial Degree in Analytical Chemistry or Biology-Chemistry or Bachelor in Chemistry, Biochemistry

3 to 5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory

Experience in a pharmaceuticals products analysis laboratory

Knowledge of GMP / GLP Canadian and international rules

Excellent knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory instruments
