LOC Software, a software development company specialized in retail business management, is growing and looking for a Human Resources Advisor. This is a new position that offers the opportunity to contribute to all levels of the human resources function.

Responsible for all human resources management functions  for our offices in Laval and the United States, including but not limited to:

• Participate in the development of the human resources  strategy to support the growth and objectives of the company
• Ensure best practices in human resources
• Participate in the planning of human resource requirements  (includes succession plans)
• Develop the attraction and recruitment strategy (tools, social media, internal / external posting)
• Develop job descriptions and skills profiles
• Responsible for the entire recruitment  process
• Ensure the integration of new employees
• Skills  management
• Performance appraisals
• Maintain complete and up-to-date employee files
• Responsible for  human resource communications
• Develop, communicate and ensure compliance of  human resources procedures and policies
• Ensure compliance of employer  obligations (CNT, Pay Equity, CSST, Training 1%, etc.)
• Develop employee retention strategies
• Act as a resource person for employees and managers on matters concerning human resources (communication, conflict resolution, policy and procedures clarification)
• Lead  the training committee
• Ensure a competitive offer (salaries, benefits and work conditions)
• Employee benefits management (group Insurance, RRSP-DPSP)
• Management of absences, holidays, sick leave, parental leave etc. …
• Responsible for employee mobility with regards to  immigration matters
• Back up  for  payroll processing

Experience and skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in human resources
• CHRP accreditation or working toward obtaining
• Knowledge of human resources regulations
• Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience as a generalist in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment
• Perfectly bilingual (French, English)
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, recruitment and human resources management tools, social media
• Experience with staff located in the United States an asset
• Accreditation CPA (pay) an asset
