Bank Interface Developer

This is a Full-time position in Laval, QC posted August 29, 2017.

The Bank Interface developer interacts with business partners to identify needs and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical solutions. The person will mainly contribute to application development and improvement.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

Develop and maintain payment terminal applications;Perform detail-level solution architecture development;Perform hands-on configuration/development of terminal-related changes;Support a number of existing applications;Actively participate in the definition of both functional and non-functional requirements for application change;Produce high quality code and unit test document deliverables;Contribute to the development of customer facing applications; Ensure full compliance to payments standards and practices, in particular PCI;Work with external parties in the deployment of applications on their platforms;

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development methodology;

Act as IT subject matter expert on terminal best practices; provide technical and best-practice guidance to team members.

 

Qualifications

 

Requirement:

 

  • Excellent skills in development ;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in application development;
  • Knowledge of Card Payment systems including EMV and PCI standards
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP communication protocol;
  • Good capability to create technical documents;
  • Good knowledge of English, spoken and written

Asset:

  • Degree in software development / computer science or relevant experience;
  • Delphi or equivalent programming experience;
  • Experiences with main US and Canadian payments processors (WorldPay, FirstData, Global, Moneris…);
  • Experience with developing gift cards and loyalty cards transactions;
  • Knowledge of  terminal protocol messaging standards ISO8583, SPDH;
  • Knowledge of master/session, E2EE, private/public key encryption methods.
