DATA INTEGRITY MANAGER

This is a Full-time position in Laval, QC posted September 14, 2017.

JOB OBJECTIVES
Utilizing information technology systems, methods, and suppliers/clients, the Data Integrity Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and coordination of an aggressive data integrity program. Post ERP program implementation, the role will act as the gatekeeper to focus on maintaining accurate and consistent data records.  Additionally the manager will be responsible for overseeing the data integrity team.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Supports the development and validation of the current data sets to be migrated to SAP as part of the ERP implantation plan.
  • Responsible for the creation, validation and modification of the data in the system.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality, consistency and reliability of all data.
  • Processes requests to add or alter data elements pertaining to items, suppliers, customers, vendors and / or pricing, etc.
  • Works in close collaboration with different departments within the company (Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Warehouse and Finance).
  • Researches and verifies data to confirm request validity.
  • Maintains and audits data files in terms of integrity in the SAP, Vistex and related systems.
  • Participates in the development of requirements, processes and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Performs data management activities in accordance with customer, company, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommends corrective actions or enhancements to improve data integrity.
  • Addresses any issues, questions and problems in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Engages and partners with third party vendors, IT and other parties, as required.
  • Takes a “hands on” approach to data entry and data cleaning as required.

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, written and spoken
  • Superior customer service and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of GS1
  • Proficiency in SAP data management
  • Knowledge of Vistex a plus
  • Advanced knowledge in data analysis (Excel, Access, SQL)
  • Strong MS-Office skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environment
  • Possess solid work ethic and exerts optimal effort in successfully completing tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work with teams in a tactful and professional manner.
