Attendant, Receiving, Distribution and Warehouse

Our mandate, in particular, is to offer new, state-of-the-art pharmaceuticals on the Canadian market, sold by prescription, over the counter or on the mass market.

We are seeking to fill a contractual position as Attendant, Receiving Distribution and Warehouse (one year contract – day shift) at Laval Plant.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Reporting to Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, the incumbent ensures the different handling tasks related to the reception, the storage, the shipment of components inventoried / non-inventoried, and the collection of raw material in compliance with regulations, policies and procedures. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receiving, Distribution, Warehouse: 

  • Receive incoming shipments and execute receiving function for all inventoried items.
  • Conduct raw material sampling.
  • Store  materials in appropriate warehouse location.
  • Optimize warehouse space.
  • Conduct process order dispensation activities (Manufacturing, Packaging, 3rd party shipments).
  • Resupply production operations with required materials on demand basis.
  • Process material destruction requests.
  • Conduct cycle counts and participate in annual inventory.
  • Highlight all irregularities and suggest improvements.
  • Follow department procedures.
  • Meet deadlines for receiving, warehousing and shipping activities.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety in warejhouse workspace.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to operate a trans-pallet and to drive a lift truck, team player and at ease with technology

DEC or Secondary V with equivalent practical experience; previous experience in pharmaceutical industry, an asset
