This is a Full-time position in Laval, QC posted August 23, 2017.

Our client, a National industry leader in the flexible plastic manufacturing is currently looking for a laboratory technician to join its team.

Main responsabilities :
Direct Reports to: Product Developer.
Objective: Perform laboratory testing on time following standard procedures and maintain laboratory equipment.

Operate lab equipment according to procedures.
The main laboratory equipments are: Instron Tensile tester, COF, FTIR, Dart, Gauge Profiler, Color, Tear Tester;
Following priorities, complete tests on time, data entry of results;
Report non-conformities;
Submit testing reports on time for certificate of analysis, sample/trial orders;
Write up summary reports using excel and/or word;
Maintain lab equipment up to date with calibration requirements

Requirements :
Excellent knowledge and experience of testing equipment and test procédures;
Min CEGEP or equivalent experience;
Good interpersonal skills to be able to interact with production and technical team;
Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook);
Good spoken and written English and French.
