Store Manager

JOB SUMMARY
We are currently searching for a Store Manager for a maternity leave replacement! You will be responsible for ensuring an amazing customer service experience and welcoming environment for our clients. You will also be responsible for motivating employees to achieve their pre-established goals and support them in their professional development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide a level of service, which will ensure that customers return and that will build a new clientele;
  • Stimulate sales through leadership skills;
  • Create and maintain a store environment, which invites and welcomes customers into our store;
  • Provide customer service and an exceptional shopping experience for Bentley’s customers;
  • Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction, achieve store objectives and control shrinkage to maximize profits;
  • The development of competent and skilled store staff to ensure a positive, knowledgeable team to serve the customers and achieve store objectives, thus ensuring promotions from within;
  • Accomplish additional tasks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant retail experience;
  • Strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills and team management;
  • At least one evening shift is required each week.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to work in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Comfortable with the use of ladders.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes.
