Payroll and A/P Coordinator

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A PAYROLL AND A/P COORDINATOR?

Under the direction of the Chief Accountant, the Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator will coordinate the payroll and all invoices payable for the entire company. With the help of the Payroll Assistant, this person will firstly take care of the distribution of the payroll in all confidentiality and then ensure that the network invoices that need to be paid are indeed done within the deadlines.

Payroll management

  • Go through the employee time clock to accept the timesheets approved by the managers and supervisors.
  • Be in close communication with human resources when there is an error with an employee’s timesheet
  • Calculate vacation time
  • Verify with the insurance company for the group insurance of new employees
  • Enter the necessary data in the payroll software.
  • Print reports to verify that the data has been entered into the software
  • Submit payroll and file reports

Management of accounts payable

  • Prepare invoices in advance for the Broker according to the day of the week, and post them in the GL Denis. Make the transfers to the bank afterwards.
  • Take care of the administrative invoices
  • Pull the GLs according to the supplier
  • Display the important elements in the Denis system
  • Issue reports and send files for payment
  • Follow up on the ecofees

Email management

  • Respond to emails and questions from network employees

Human Resources

  • Open group insurance files for new employees
  • Follow up on people on disability
  • Follow up on people on maternity leave to collect post-dated cheques for insurance
  • Update the vacation schedule when there are changes.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF WORKING WITH US?

  • Full time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5pm
  • Salary: Between $46,800 & $52,000
  • Group insurance plan (accident/medical, dental, salary/disability, life)
  • 3 weeks of vacation after 1 year;

  • Managers and supervisors ready to answer questions and give advice whenever needed

PROFILE REQUIRED:

  • Experience with payroll
  • Ability to use Excel software
  • Bilingualism
  • Organized, rigorous and autonomous

Workplace: 2990 boul. Le Corbusier, Laval, H7L 3M2

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm
