Job Description:Daily management of financial controls, including cash management, cash projections, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, Accounts Payable, and Accounts ReceivableEnsure the exactness of inventory costing and invoicing produced by Customer Service departmentOversee, the production of all mandatory bank and external accountant reports, statements, or other documentation.Manage a team including a Controller, accounts receivable, accounts payable and Collections personnel.Make sure that GST, QST, Income tax, and other legally required account remittances, analyses and reporting are maintained and accurateDevelop and implement financial, accounting and reporting policies and procedures.Manage all financial and accounting affairs – budgets, reportsProcess and handle full cycle payroll for employees in an efficient mannerResearch, analyze and present management tools and systems that could provide an advantage to the companyRegularly perform cash flow planning, which is tied directly to sales orders, supplier purchases and transportEvaluating and updating internal audit controlsWhat you have to offer:Minimum 10 years’ relevant experienceA bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalentA CMA or CPA designation is a mustStrong knowledge of accounting softwareKnowledge of payroll, full accounting cycle, taxation, forecasting and cash managementExcellent analytical and detail-oriented skillsMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to take initiative and work both independently and in a teamwork environmentComputer savvyStrong communication skills and interpersonal skillsBilingual
