Warehouse Operations Worker

Our client, a family-owned company founded almost 50 years ago in Montreal, is guided by its success throughout major Canadian cities. To help them continue this meteoric expansion, they are looking for a warehouse operations worker for the evening shifts at their distribution center in Laval.

Here are the main tasks:

• Welcome new employees.
• Ensure presence during breaks and mealtimes in order to be available to employees.
• Manage absences, delays, vacation and time off.
• Do the inventory of required material.
• Be in charge of weekly meetings.
• Conduct forklift and PC training.
• Ensure that the occupational accident documents are completed and forward them to the OSH department.
• Make sure the employees follow the company’s safety standards and that the workplace in safe.
• Carry out any other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• Experience managing floor staff (retail, fast food, dining, etc.).
• Bilingualism: French and English, spoken and written.
• Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license required for the position.
