Join us if you care to make a difference in healthcareJob DescriptionAs a software developer on the Web Services team in R& D, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Intelerad’s products.Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of major features of Intelerad’s products Apply professional design and development best-practicesBalance deadlines, functionality, and qualityLead in the improvement of and adherence to Intelerad’s policies, procedures, and practicesProficiency in product knowledge and business spaceUnderstand the constraints of operating in a regulated development environmentMaintain and improve the product’s devops pipelineDocument your work appropriately (requirements, designs, code, training information, etc.)Participate in project scoping, requirements gathering, and time estimationStrive to complete your deliverables according to requirements and within the time estimatesBalance maintenance responsibilities with project deliverables.Provide management with accurate and timely data regarding task progressProvide training to new team member and the different support teams.Participate in any project deemed necessary by the organization QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent skills and practical industry experienceSolid experience using Java in complex application development (5-8 years)Good experience with design patternsExperience designing and building complex data workflows for customersUnderstanding of web services development using Java (HTTP, REST APIs, Tomcat)Knowledge of multithreaded or event-driven programmingExperience writing unit tests and e2e testsAbility to adapt to working with a wide array of technologies and languagesKnowledgeable about building secure, scalable & resilient web applications is an assetDesired QualificationsExperience with core javascript and front-end web development technologies (Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, AJAX, CSS)Good experience with relational database design, SQL and design patternsExperience with Unix, shell scripts, command lineFamiliarity with the Agile and scrum methodologyKnowledge of AWS servicesKnowledge of DICOM, HL7, medical imaging and radiology workflows would be an assetAdditional InformationAll qualified candidates will be asked to complete a 30min pre-employment assessment.
