With this in mind, the Contobox team is creating unique products and experiences that provide brands with actionable data to connect with their audience in a smarter way.We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is eager to demonstrate leadership, loves diving deep into complex systems and thrives when given the autonomy to find solutions to the most challenging problems in the industry.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, will be empowered to innovate and will have complete ownership of your engineering projects.Responsibilities Architect, design and build modern, Cloud-native, distributed systems Leverage complex modeling and data-at-scale systems Evaluate the design and the architecture of the systems and ensure their functionality, performance and scalability, considering the trade-off between availability and consistency.

Participate in peer code review to ensure code quality and to help everyone grow Dive deep into complex engineering problems, improve processes, tools and coding standards Adapt the DevOps mindset to emphasize speed and efficiency across every step of the development process and to enable continuous delivery and integration Actively demonstrate leadership skills and constantly raise the bar to deliver higher standards of quality products Have full ownership of the projects and have good understanding of the corporate requirements to improve business metrics and user experience Provide mentorship and technical coaching to junior and intermediate engineers Collaborate with the stakeholders in a cross-functional environment both local and remote Actively participate in team meetings and provide valuable input and constructive feedback Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of professional software development with focus on two or more of the following programming languages C/C++, C#, Java, Go, PHP, Node.Js, Python Experience building high volume and highly scalable web services Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, replication, sharding and load balancing.
