Quality Inspector – Merchandise Reception Specialist

Job Summary:

Nuera Air would like to take advantage of your interest and expertise to offer you this brand- new position of Quality Inspector with a specialty in receiving merchandise.

main tasks*:

• The incumbent will be responsible, without limitation,:
• For inspecting the various components received at our factory and ensuring their compliance with our established standards.
• She/He will have to be meticulous in his/her work and participate in the collection of information crucial to the improvement of our products in spreadsheet format (Excel), for the purposes of traceability.
• The employee must be versatile in his work and be functional in the other Quality Inspector positions in order to be able to support them as needed.
  An important aspect of the position will be focused on validating the information present in the Maximum software and it will be the employee’s duty to report any aberrations noticed and possible improvements.

• Inspect incoming components at our factory Validate their conformity (format, quantity per box, packaging quality, product identification, etc.)
• Validate that the model, the item number and the quantities received correspond to the receipt document.
• Perform aesthetic inspections (dents, scratches, etc.) to ensure the quality of the product received Identify and manage non-conformities according to established rules and procedures
• Help design a database by product line
• Be able to use measuring tools with precision such as a vernier, a caliper, multimeter or other measuring devices
• Perform destructive or non-destructive testing as needed
• Be manually skilled and comfortable using conventional tools Search for technical references on the engineering server
• Ensure the conformity of the raw material according to the established specifications, as well as the certifications in force in the different countries
• Quarantine non-compliant material and notify supervisor.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of procedures necessary for certifications
• Keep an up-to-date inspection register, by supplier (score cards)
  Participate in the development and improvement of procedures and other forms as needed

Training and experience:

Any experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing company will be considered a major asset.

Familiarization period:

• 3 months

  Technical skills :

  Master the Windows environment and the MS Office suite (Word, Excel)

  Understanding of technical drawings

  Assets: · Bilingual (French and English) both orally and in writing.

  Experience with PowerPoint and/or Maximum software
