Technical Analyst – System

Job summary:

The System Technical Analyst will act as a resource person for our customers for all issues related to installation or upgrade of our applications on various technical environments. He/she will use his/her communication, analytical and technical operational skills to complete problem resolution requests. The System Technical Analyst works closely with the programmer responsible for the development of the modules by sharing their findings and improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely follow-ups with our customers and business partners for any problems encountered or for specific applications issues
  • Provide solutions to given problems and document each issue encountered with detailed notes within ticket
  • Analyze current requests in progress and assign a priority status for each of them
  • Perform analysis as well as adjustments to selected applications and/or customization requests
  • Enlist the participation of programmers when major modifications are required
  • Conduct audits tests on applications to ensure quality prior to delivery
  • Provide training to our customers for relevant applications
  • Participate in the documentation of applications for compliance, training and referral purposes

Requirements:

  • Experience in technical support
  • Good knowledge of Windows 7/8/10 operating systems
  • Good knowledge in networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls etc.)
  • Knowledge of FTP, SMB, SMTP, and SSH protocols
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases
  • Good ability to resolve technical problems
  • Strong communication skills in English & French (Spoken & Written)

Education:

College Diploma or equivalent (DEC, AEC)

Years of Work Experience:

3 to 5 Years of experience in customer service/support

Assets:

  • Knowledge of Azure cloud platform
  • Functional knowledge of Spanish (spoken & written)
