Logistics Technician “Dispatcher”

We are currently looking for a dynamic logistics technician to join our Laval team. At Emballage Tout, you will have the chance to evolve and use your talent to contribute to the evolution of the company.

job summary

The main responsibility of the incumbent is to manage day-to-day logistics and ensure excellent communication with the customer.

Responsibilities

· Organize the transport of goods and schedule appointments.

· Plan the loading / unloading of trailers via the forklift operators.

· Ensure the accuracy of orders as well as carrier information.

· Prepare shipping documents for Canadian and US transport.

· Create purchase orders and perform data entry into the SAP system.

· Communicate with various internal and external customers of the company.

· Ensure the verification and inventory of stocks. Update inventory daily through internal inventory management system.

· Update yard plan and trailer inventory daily.

· Contribute to the process of periodic physical count of inventory inventory.

Requirements

· 1 to 3 years of experience in the field; any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent will be considered.

· DEC in inventory and supply management, an asset.

· Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks at the same time and work under pressure.

· Leadership, autonomy, rigor and meticulousness.

· Excellent interpersonal communication and team spirit.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (SAP an asset).

· Knowledge of Appointment Plus software, an asset.

· Fluency in French and English (oral and written).

· ***Driver card an asset***.

· Schedule: 7am-5pm Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week over 4 days
