Truck Driver

Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday to Friday)

TRUCK DRIVER – ORDER PICKER

Description of tasks* :

Truck driver :

• Pick up and unload trucks;
• Maneuver a vehicle safely in heavy traffic as well as in restricted areas;
• Inspect the truck before, during and after the trip and monitor all aspects of the vehicles, such as the condition of the equipment, as well as the loading and unloading of cargo;
• Complete administrative documents: delivery slips, invoices;
• Keep the vehicle clean and maintained at all times;

Order picker:

• Prepare orders according to shipping procedures;
• Fill out the various order tracking forms;
• Preparation of documents for invoicing (according to shipping procedures);
• Sort the orders to be prepared in our computer system;
• Carry out adequate packaging for transport and according to shipping standards;
• 5 day week from Monday to Friday;
• Any other work compatible with the task that may be assigned to him by his supervisor.

Requirements:

• Class 5 license required;
• Aged 25 and over;
• Good driving record;
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a cube truck driver;
• Have a good sense of direction, be comfortable driving in the greater Laval, Montreal and other regions;
• Basic communication in English and French required;
• Good skills for physical and manual work;

Non technical skills:

• Works well in a team;
• Good memory capacity;
• To be punctual;
• Have a good knowledge of driving safety rules.
