About the Job:Samais searching for a talented and passionate Customer Engineer/Solutions Engineer to help our customers make the most out of our data annotation services.

As a CSE at Sama, you’re a strong technologist & roll-up-sleeves engineer who enjoys working directly with customers to solve challenging technology problems in AI.

You will partner with our most strategic customers as a technology guide through the entire customer journey from initial requirements, to the delivery of customer architectures and technology solutions.

As a part of our Customer Success team, you will focus on engaging and retaining our customers through the entire customer journey, encouraging best practice adoption of Sama services and solutions.Key Responsibilities:Consult with customers, designing computer vision and training data strategiesBe a technical product expert in our Sama technology platformWork cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success Managers, PMs, and Delivery teams while independently driving key initiativesImpact the Sama roadmap by integrating customer feedback directly into our productBecome an expert in the full workflow for AI training data, from data acquisition and enrichment through quality and verificationImplement, deploy and support customer-specific solutions or integrations, if requiredDesign solutions that artfully balance the symbiosis between technology and humanity Minimum Qualifications:3+years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, Software Engineer, or equivalentBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, equivalent or relevant skills learned on the jobDevelopment experience in Python, Ruby, or other web development/scripting languagesStrong organizational skills and prioritization, balancing multiple challenges at onceComfortable with demos and presenting at any level: engineer, data scientist, executive, meetups, demos, conferencesAbility to listen to understand customers’ needs and respond with solid technical guidance and implementation, often solving ambiguous problemsComfort moving quicklyWillingness to support global team and be available during various time zones Preferred Qualifications:Experience in AI and training data cycleEntrepreneurial mindsetExperience with Heroku, Python, and Rest APIs About Sama:25% of the Fortune 50 trust Sama to deliver secure, high-quality training data and validation for the technology teams driving humanity forward.
