Inside Sales Technical Representative

This is a Contract position in Laval, QC posted January 9, 2022.

The inside sales representative provides phone and email support to new and existing customers (Canada and USA). They offer technical support for customers by providing technical information, ensuring after-sales services and follows up with the concerned departments. They complete quotations and follows up with the client. To ensure their needs are met, they work to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire process.


  • Prepare quotations, bids and estimates for customers, by the required deadline;
  • Provide pricing, product availability, delivery and schedule information;
  • Ensure that all pertinent information is received from the client to process orders;
  • Collaborates with other departments (production, engineering, purchasing, logistics, accounting) throughout the entire process in order to meet customer expectations;
  • Process orders and communicate order progress;
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers;
  • Provide technical information as needed and propose solutions and/or alternatives that meet business needs and customer requirements;
  • Respond by phone and email to customer inquiries and provide product knowledge and technical documentation to the customers;
  • Solicit information to establish customer’s needs and propose solutions based on the end use of the product and application requirements;
  • Gather information from manufacturers for special orders;
  • Respond to customer complaints ensuring follow-up with the appropriate department and the customer.


  • Bilingual in English and French, both oral & written;
  • Experience in a customer service position;
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills towards building relationships with the customers and earning customers trust;
  • Able to understand and explain technical products;
  • Able to multitask and manage priorities;
  • Organized, resourceful, responsible;
  • Excellent proficiency with the Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience in a technical sales position (an asset);
  • Experience working with Salesforce (an asset).


Salary: 48000.00-56800.00
