National Sales Manager

This is a Contract position in Laval, QC posted November 20, 2022.

Headquartered in Laval and with 4 branches located in Quebec and Ontario, Nuera Industrial sells light and heavy duty belting and related products and services.

Nuera Industrial is active in a variety of industries, including metals and mining, cement and aggregates, paper and forest products, recycling, grain and food processing, among others. Customers rely on its technical expertise regarding the selection of optimal conveyor belting solutions that will ensure the proper functioning of their material handling operations. Nuera Industrial is a growing company and the National Sales Manager is an integral part of this growth strategy.

Primary Tasks:

  • Proactively seek and develop new market / business opportunities
  • Develop and lead business development activities with certain clients
  • Create the annual sales budget and ensure that it is achieved
  • Coach, evaluate, mobilize and develop the sales team
  • Propose new strategies, tactics or other initiatives to increase sales
  • Supervise the development of strategies, tactics and marketing and communication tools necessary to support sales
  • Make sure to meet regularly as a group and individually with the sales team
  • Use the company’s ERP system and Salesforce in managing the performance of sales representatives
  • Actively participate on the Executive Committee and assist the President with certain activities
  • Collaborate with other employees and colleagues to achieve the company’s common goals
  • Contribute to a positive working environment, atmosphere and teamwork

Training and Experience:

  • Holds a university degree in commerce or engineering an asset, or has technical training combined with experience in sales in an industrial context
  • At least 3 years of management experience and the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies

Skills:

  • Ability to assimilate technical concept and articulate technical information
  • Familiarity with industrial operations an asset
  • Microsoft Office
  • Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system an asset
  • Leadership / ability to motivate, guide and develop people
  • Entrepreneurial / capable of developing new markets and customers
