Brand and Content Marketing Manager – Sports Experts Reporting to the Associate Vice-President Marketing, the Brand and Content Manager will be required to play a key role in developing and implementing communication campaigns for Sports Experts, Atmosphere and Trio Hockey.

In a highly competitive and evolving context, the candidate will be responsible, with his/her team, for the design and execution of integrated seasonal campaigns in addition to the implementation of the content strategy defined by the various digital channel specialists, buyers and the strategic planning marketing team.

As a dynamic manager with a passion for simple and coherent customer-centric communication, with strong matrix and critical thinking skills, the candidate should possess an excellent mastery of the basic principles of agile management, customer experience and brand image management in a retail context, both at the strategic and implementation levels.What You’ll Do Responsible for planning and implementing seasonal campaigns and activating various marketing campaigns within the agreed deadlines Managing a team responsible for campaign and content production on several platforms, both traditional and digital media, including TV/Video Together with the creative agency, the channel specialists, the strategic planning team and his/her own team, the brand and content manager will be responsible for developing and bringing the creative platform and brand standards guide to life in order to deliver a consistent customer experience across all touch points Ensure the annual planning of budgets for content, social, photo, TV/Video production, as well as regular status updates Work closely with our social and creative agencies, responsible for continuously optimising and rationalising production budgets in order to maintain a high content/media ratio In partnership with the strategic planning and marketing operations team, define the annual production schedule, identify its critical points, build appropriate resource and contingency plans and ensure the delivery of content on time Define best practices for content creation and production and continuously improve team performance Supervise the production and creation made with external partners (agencies and freelancers) Responsible for implementation planning of seasonal campaigns with the different agencies Establish lasting and effective relationships with partner teams: Strategic Planning, Marketing Operations, Purchasing, Ecommerce, etc.

What You Bring Undergraduate degree in marketing, administration or communication Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in retail and marketing/communication team management, including the implementation of marketing strategies for major brands present in Quebec Proven experience in developing multiplatform campaigns: TV, Web, Radio, Print Experience in relationship management with an advertising agency Franchise experience an asset Demonstrate the following skills in daily life: positivity, agility, multi-tasking, rigour, energy, creativity and efficiency Significant experience in developing and coaching teams specialising in marketing communications Strong participatory leadership, with the ability to share a clear team and individual vision and goals Ability to self-manage and multi-task, with a strong sense of creativity and initiative In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) In-depth knowledge of digital and social media Excellent oral and written skills (in French and English), must be bilingual Appreciate teamwork and operate with great autonomy and discretion Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities About Canadian Tire CorporationCanadian Tire and its family of companies are boldly shaping retail in Canada and we continue to deliver a positive experience for our customers.
